NUMIX co-presidents act as facilitators and moderators for the jurors during the deliberations. They do not have the right to vote, and cannot give their opinion on projects.

Catherine Mathys
Co-founder and partner, La Société des demains

President of the Québec Jury
Catherine has been working in the media for over 20 years, where she explains technological transformations using a sociological approach. As a partner in the Société des demains, which she co-founded in 2022, she applies strategic foresight to a wide range of sectors with rigor and optimism. She also lectures at the École des médias at UQAM and at HEC Montréal.

Marie du Chastel
Artistic Director, KIKK and ikii

President of the International Jury
Marie du Chastel is an exhibition curator, creative strategist, and project initiator working at the intersection of art, technology, and society. She is the artistic director of the KIKK Festival and Le Pavillon in Namur (Belgium), and co-founder and Head of Arts at ikii, an international creative studio dedicated to the future of live and immersive experiences.

At KIKK, an association exploring digital and creative cultures, she oversees the artistic direction of the festival, as well as its exhibitions, residencies, and educational programs. Since 2011, she has been programming the KIKK Festival, a major international event that brings together over 20,000 visitors and 3,000 professionals each year around digital creativity, artistic experimentation, and the societal challenges raised by technology. She is also the founder of AfriKIKK, a program dedicated to showcasing African and diasporic digital creative scenes.

Through ikii, she collaborates with premium events, promoters, and brands to conceive and produce artistic and immersive experiences, while supporting the live sector in its creative and strategic transformations. A member of the Digital Arts Commission of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation for over ten years, she was elected Francophone Woman of the Year by the International Association of Francophone Mayors in 2020.
